Fanttik, the brand best known for tire inflators and jump starters, announced its first dash cam on September 10, 2026: the Luma K10 Apex, a 4K front + 2K rear two-channel system listed at $319.99 on fanttik.com. The press release said the OBD-II hardwire kit version would sell through Fanttik's site and TikTok Shop from mid-September, with the 12 V car-charger kit coming to Amazon U.S. in October. The Amazon listing is now live under ASIN B0H8RSCN52.

The pitch is the interface: a fully laminated 2.8-inch touchscreen with a physical dial, which Fanttik says is smartphone-grade. Under the hood it names an AI NPU with an AI ISP for low-light processing and color enhancement, built-in GPS with a G-sensor, and Wi-Fi 6 for app downloads at 20 MB/s or better. The operating range of -4°F to 158°F (-20°C to 70°C) is the widest of the three cameras in the table.
Who should care
- Hot-climate commuters. A supercapacitor rated to 158°F is the number to look at if your car bakes in Phoenix, Houston or Las Vegas lots. It beats the A229 Pro's 149°F on paper.
- People who hate tiny dash cam menus. A 2.8-inch laminated screen with a dial is a real usability difference from the 2.4-inch VIOFO.
- Fanttik owners. If you already run the Fanttik app for an inflator or jump starter, this keeps everything in one place.
Who should wait: buyers who want a complete spec sheet. Fanttik has not published a field-of-view figure or a maximum microSD size, and the rear sensor is unnamed. The A229 Pro publishes all three.
What we can't tell you yet
- Field of view. Not on the product page or in the press release as of October 17, 2026. That is a basic number for a dash cam, and we will update the scorecard when Fanttik publishes it.
- Maximum card size. Fanttik says a memory card is used and removable, but not the ceiling. A 128 GB card is bundled in one Amazon variant.
- Rear image quality. The rear sensor is not named, so we cannot compare it with VIOFO's IMX675 on paper.
- Firmware maturity. This is Fanttik's first dash cam. Durability, parking-mode behavior and app reliability are unknown until owners report back. BaniCar does not handle units; our score comes from the published specs.
