WOLFBOX announced the K9 Pro on October 1, 2026, as part of its seventh-anniversary campaign, with pre-orders open on wolfbox.com at $379 (a $120 launch discount off the $499 list price) and shipping from October 28. It is a three-channel camera: 4K front, 2.5K cabin, 2.5K rear. The Amazon listing is not live yet; WOLFBOX says official sales begin in late October.

The two numbers that separate the K9 Pro from the three-channel Vantrue N4 Pro are the cabin and rear resolution: 2.5K on both, versus 1080p on both. WOLFBOX also rates the rear camera IP69K, the highest ingress rating in our list, and claims Wi-Fi 6 downloads up to 60 MB/s, three times the figure most rivals publish. A CPL filter for the front lens is in the box, and the company lists 2 TB as the maximum card size.

WOLFBOX's marketing names are ColorAlive (full-color cabin night vision from an F1.5, 1/1.88-inch sensor instead of infrared), PlateCapture (plates readable to 10 m at night) and NoiseShield (dual-mic AI noise reduction). Parking mode covers G-sensor impact recording, motion detection with 30-second locked clips and time-lapse, and requires a hardwire kit sold separately.

Who should care

  • Rideshare drivers. A 2.5K color cabin camera is a different product from the grainy 1080p infrared cabin feeds most three-channel cams ship with. If a cabin dispute ever matters, resolution matters.
  • Truck and off-road owners. IP69K means the rear camera is rated for high-pressure, high-temperature washdowns, not just rain.
  • Anyone with a 1 TB+ card habit. 2 TB support is the highest we have logged.

Who should wait: value buyers. At the $499 list price the Vantrue N4 Pro is $150 cheaper for the same 4K front sensor. The $379 pre-order price changes that math, but it ends October 31, 2026.

What we can't tell you yet

  • Field of view and screen size. Neither is published. For a $499 camera that is a gap.
  • Power source. WOLFBOX does not say whether the K9 Pro uses a supercapacitor or a battery, even though it rates the unit to 158°F.
  • The Amazon version. No ASIN exists yet, and the 18-month warranty is described as an official-site exclusive. We do not know what term Amazon buyers will get.
  • Everything real-world. The first units ship October 28. Nobody has tested heat, parking-mode drain or firmware stability. BaniCar does not handle units; this score is from the published specs only.
