3.8 /5 Overall score
average of 5 criteria
  • Spec strength4.0

24,000 lm is the lowest headline number here, but it's the only figure stated as effective lumens with amperage (3.75 A) to back it; SEALIGHT and Termitor publish 34,000 to 170,000 lm with no current draw.

  • Build quality4.5

IP68, copper substrate, 6063 aluminum and a 55,000-hour rating, with the chip type and fan RPM stated consistently on the brand site and Amazon — the most coherent spec sheet in this group.

  • Fit & compatibility3.5

Built-in CAN-bus driver and 1:1 size, but Auxbeam itself flags BMW and Dodge flicker and excludes DRL housings; no DOT claim, marketed as fog/powersports.

  • Warranty & support4.0

2 years stated and a brand site that sells decoders and parts; SEALIGHT's site says 1 year.

  • Value3.0

At $92.99 list it is the most expensive pair here — $33 over the SEALIGHT L2S — for lower rated lumens.

Score is calculated from the manufacturer's published specifications. BaniCar has not handled this unit. Specs and availability change — verify on the listing.

Safety note: Many LED retrofit bulbs are sold for off-road use only and are not DOT-compliant in halogen housings. Check federal and state law before installing on a road vehicle. We quote only what the manufacturer states.

Verdict

The most honestly specified bulb in this group: effective lumens, amp draw, chip count and fan speed all agree between the brand site and the listing. You pay for that consistency, and it remains an off-road/fog part under federal lighting rules, not a legal headlight swap.

Pros & cons

Pros

  • Spec sheet lists effective lumens and actual current draw
  • IP68, copper substrate, 55,000-hour rating
  • Built-in CAN-bus driver; decoders available from the maker for BMW and Dodge
  • 2-year warranty stated

Cons

  • Not DOT/FMVSS 108 compliant for headlamp use; the maker's listing calls it a fog light / powersports product
  • Highest list price in this group at $92.99
  • Does not fit DRL housings
  • Fan-cooled; Auxbeam notes some vehicles still flicker without an add-on decoder

Best for

  • UTV, side-by-side and trail-rig owners
  • Fog-light upgrades where state law allows
  • Buyers who want specs that match across sources

Frequently asked questions

Is this street legal?

Not as a headlight on public roads, as far as the published record shows. The manufacturer makes no DOT or FMVSS 108 compliance claim for this bulb, and NHTSA has forced recalls of aftermarket LED bulbs sold as halogen replacements because they exceeded the standard's luminous-flux limits. The Amazon listing files it under off-road, powersports, or fog use. Treat it as an off-road or show-use part and check your state's law before putting it in a headlamp housing.

What does "effective lumens" mean here?

Auxbeam rates the F22 at 24,000 effective lumens per pair rather than a raw chip figure, and backs it with a 3.75 A draw at 12 V (about 45 W actual). That's why the number looks small next to the 70,000-plus claims on other listings.

Will it work in my fog lights?

Yes, that's how both Auxbeam and the Amazon listing categorize it, as long as the housing takes an H11, H8 or H9. It does not fit DRL housings.
