What kind of batteries do they take?
MARCALA says 3 batteries per flare come installed and includes spares, but doesn't name the size on the listing. Check the back of a disc before stocking up — most discs this size use AAA cells.
Are these really DOT compliant?
The manufacturer says so but cites no standard or test. FMVSS 125 covers non-powered warning triangles, not LED discs, so there is no federal approval mark to look for. If you need compliant devices for a commercial vehicle, carry triangles like the CARTMAN set.
Do they stick to the car?
